The Story Behind Mie and Salt
Product Story
Starting a business, I was looking for something enduring—a concept built on stability and longevity.
My inspiration came when I learned about salt on a TV program. Salt never spoils and never disappears. No matter how times change, it remains a timeless part of daily life. This sparked my journey to create a product centered on salt.
Deciding where to source it led me to Owase, Mie Prefecture, a location tied to my own roots. Through ongoing discussions with a local salt factory, I saw vast possibilities, and our plans began to take form. Pursuing high craftsmanship, I experimented with various salts, including traditional seaweed salt.
Throughout this process, I returned to my original motivation: creating something that truly brings joy to others. Considering the daily stress of modern life, I believed salt could offer a meaningful way to heal. That thought led me deep into the development of bath salts, aiming to bring out the best in each ingredient so everyone could find a scent that speaks to them.
This vision became the Mie Series. The journey starts here, with nine carefully crafted scents.

How much should I use per bath?

Add approximately 30g to 50g into a full tub of hot water (about 200L). Stir well until dissolved before entering.

Can I use this product daily?

There are no specific restrictions on frequency listed on the label. However, if you experience redness, swelling, itching, or irritation during use, stop using it immediately. Continuing use may worsen symptoms, so we recommend monitoring your skin’s reaction.

Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?

Please discontinue use if the product does not agree with your skin. If you notice symptoms such as redness, swelling, itching, or irritation during use, or if similar symptoms appear when exposed to direct sunlight after use, stop using it immediately and consult a dermatologist.

Can I use the leftover water for laundry or use the re-heating function (Oidaki)?

Please do not use leftover bathwater for laundry. Additionally, depending on the model, it may not be suitable for re-heating functions or 24-hour baths. Please check the instruction manual for your bath system before use.

What is the shelf life of the aroma bath salt?

It is 3 years from the date of manufacture when unopened.

- For external use only. Do not use for any purpose other than bathing.
- This product is not edible. If a large amount is accidentally swallowed, take first-aid measures such as drinking water and consult a doctor immediately.
- Discontinue use immediately if the product does not agree with your skin or if any of the following symptoms occur. Continued use may worsen symptoms; consulting a dermatologist is recommended. (1) If symptoms such as redness, swelling, itching, or irritation occur during use. (2) If the above symptoms appear on skin exposed to direct sunlight after using the product.

- Do not use leftover bathwater for laundry, as the formulation ingredients may damage fabrics.
- Avoid using in marble or wooden bathtubs.
- Exercise caution with certain bathtub materials: Oil or pigments contained in the formula may adhere if leftover water is left in the tub for an extended period, or when used in older/long-term fiberglass (FRP), enamel, or stainless steel tubs.
- Check your heating system before use: Depending on the model (such as re-heating functions or 24-hour continuous bath systems), this product may not be suitable.
- Sulfur-free: This product does not contain sulfur, which can damage bath kettles.
- Natural Ingredients: Due to the use of natural ingredients, the product may change color or fade over time, but this does not affect product quality.
